Are tiny black flies (sciarid flies, also called fungus gnats or compost flies) buzzing around your houseplants or greenhouse? These pests can be annoying, and their larvae can damage plant roots, especially in seedlings. This organic treatment uses beneficial nematodes—microscopic worms that are natural predators—to target and kill the sciarid fly larvae in the soil. It's a completely natural, chemical-free solution that's harmless to children, pets, wildlife, and even edible plants (you can harvest veggies right after application!). The pack treats an area of about 10 square meters. Using it is easy: just mix the nematodes with water and apply to moist soil as a drench around the affected plants, ideally between April and August.
